What do you like about this industry?

What I absolutely love about the hospitality industry is that its a people-oriented industry, it gives you an opportunity to travel, meet a lot of people, work around people and most important that the industry shapes your personality of being a people’s person. I feel hospitality industry also gives you an opportunity to be creative. We are creating a product — be it food, drink or an experience. And there's always scope to dream up new ways of making it more enjoyable for the guests.

Why are you interested in being an ambassador?

Women in cleaning is a great platform to be a part of & I am extremely excited. I have been connected with the hospitality industry for a while now as a professional in India & in the Middle East. Also being the Founder & Chairperson for I- Professional Housekeepers’ Association & Gen –X Housekeepers’ by I-PHA, India & being a core member of the Asian Housekeepers’ Association (AHA), will give me more opportunity to take this forum to a new level. The  housekeeping fraternity in India connects & relates with me and hence being an ambassador, more likely the Housekeepers will actively participate in all the forum.

As a brand ambassador I am authentic & passionate about my work. After having established expertise in the cleaning industry  I can provide my technical expertise & a human aspect to the profile. My endeavour definitely will be an added value as an ambassador not restricting to cleaning but touch other aspects like sustainability, new & improvised cleaning processes.
